Crawford Smith began making beef jerky in 1975 after working at the family dairy farm on the coast of Tillamook, Oregon. As the first-to-market innovator in the meat snack industry, Crawford is best known for the finest quality packaged and bulk meat snacks both in the United States and abroad.
Crawford and the Smith Family have perfected the art of real wood-smoked meat snacks. Through Crawford’s mentorship, the dual traditions of quality and devotion to family carry now into the third generation.
